No newsletter this week
But some sad news
My friends, as I wrote a newsletter about my father only three weeks ago I feel it is appropriate to tell you that my darling Dad died on Sunday. The grief is real and all-encompassing, so I am taking a break this week to sit in it. I know it will get better.
Happy Father’s Day to all on Sunday. If you are able, hold your Dad close. I am now part of the club for whom the day will instead be filled with memories and sorrow. I know many of you will be part of that club too.
We will keep the tomato plants going.

So sorry Gillian. I will say what I wish someone said to me. Write down everything you can think of about him in the next few weeks and months. Over the years the memory fades and mushes. Be gentle with yourself this next few months. ❤️

This Father’s Day is my dad’s 26th anniversary of his death. It’s not okay to have this on the same day but oh well.
